This Gazelle Champion Mondial oozes character. A full Reynolds 531 double butted steel frame with touring geometry: eyelets for front and rear racks and plenty of tire clearance. A rare combination making this an ideal base for a commuter or gravel bike.
This frame was built in the early 70's in a brief period where the Gazelle Champion Mondial "Semi Race" (touring version) was built to the same high spec as the famous racing counterpart - unfortunately this did not last for long and the touring versions became cheapened over time.
A more modern riser bar makes it a practical and stylish daily commuter, 5x2 friction shifting with the shifters moved up to the stem. Cream wall Schwalbe 37-622 tires pick up the same colour as the original decals. Front wheel is a more modern Mavic one.
