The Giant Cadex is a firm favourite, being one of the first production bicycles to pioneer carbon fibre as the material of choice for high-performance bicycles. This one has a really nice looking violet colour combined with the carbon latticing effect. This was Giant's top-of-the-range road bike in its time.
The bicycle has sought-after Campagnolo Athena components, including integrated shifters, Campagnolo hubs, and a beautiful sounding freehub body. Only the rear derailleur (Shimano 105) is not Campag. The modern FSA threadless stem is a nice upgrade, that makes it easier to change the riding position. Mavic Open 4CD rims.
