An early 90s Batavus with performance pedigree. The Competition was the second from the top of the range Batavus and the frame is made with the famed double-butted Reynolds 531 steel.
The subtle gold and brown colour tones add a touch of class and the gold metallic effect really catches the sun. The frame is coupled with a complete Shimano 105 groupset. It has 7x2 indexed gears with Biorace crankset, powerful double pivot brakes and the original 105 hubs spin smoothly and are laced to nice black Rigida Score rims. Lovely leather Selle San Marco saddle.
New Elvedes stainless steel brake and gear cables, new Savcon brake blocks, new chain, new brake hoods.
61cm c-t frame is suitable for people 180cm and up
