Nishiki Trim Master 63cm

A great example of a Japanese machine from a bygone era with original paint and chrome in mint condition. The handmade frame is constructed from Tange Champion No.2 double-butted steel and is full of gorgeous details like engravings on the seat stay, top tube and Shimano ST chromed drop-outs.

The bicycle was originally designed as a road bike but has been changed to a more relaxed commuter-style handlebars. The bike is kitted with original Shimano 600 arabesque and Adamas components which add to the bling.

New Michelin Dynamic Classic tires 25-622, new Elvedes stainless steel brake and gear cables, new Elvedes brake blocks, new grips, and Saccon brake levers. Note the small damage at the end end of the top tube.

Nishiki is named after the special thread woven into ceremonial wedding kimonos and this bike hails from the original Kawamura Cycle in the city of Kobe, Japan. It made a range of bikes for markets all over the world from entry-level commuting bikes to top end road bicycles.
