1978 Koga Miyata Road Racer 56cm

This 1978 Koga Miyata Road Racer was part of the brand's professional series aimed at serious cyclists of the day. The frame is made from Tange Champion butted steel tubing and features lovely detailed lugs, chromed drop-outs and fork and drilled out bottom-bracket.

The original component reflects this race pedigree - Shimano Dura-Ace shifters, derailleurs. A gorgeous SR drillium bottom bracket, stem and saddle post, Shimano hubs laced to Mavic MA2 rims.

Note the paint damage to the top tube caused by cable rub over the years (see the last pictures for a closer look).
