Batavus Criterium 52cm Shimano Golden Arrow

This Batavus Criterium is in a hard to find extra small size. The frame is made from Ishiwata 025 double butted steel and has the hallmarks of a high-end frame of its era such as Shimano ST drop-outs and detailed lugs. Although the paint has some scuffs here and there, normal for it’s age, there is no rust and the pearlescent paint finish still shines nicely in the sunlight.

The bicycle has a Shimano Golden Arrow (precursor to 105) 2 x 5 groupset, including hub set. Seat post, stem and handle bar are Sakae Ringyo, Top-run pedals and original suede saddle.
