The Peugeot UO 8 was a ten-speed bicycle manufactured by Cycles Peugeot during the "bike boom" of the 1970s. It was marketed as a mid-range "racing style" cycle yet to this day is famed for its excellent handling characteristics and trademark solid riding feel.
This early 1980s Peugeot U08 has been refurbished with the everyday commute in mind. It features a more modern 12 speed Shimano indexed gear set-up and high quality 28mm Continental Continental Grand Prix tires with good width to take on whatever may lie in the road.
It has been completely overhauled with new wheels, freewheel, Simson chain, brake and gear cables, brake blocks andBike Ribbon bar tape. The bottom bracket has also been serviced.
54cm frame is suitable for people approximately 165-175cm tall.
